It’s the little things…
We’ve all been there.
You’re at the counter and fishing furiously for your wallet. Then you panic.
You’ve forgotten your wallet.
You can feel the people in the queue behind staring daggers into the back of your head.
They tut, check their watches and tut some more. You mumble some nonsense and dart to the door.
Now imagine a world where people actually help you.
One lucky traveller found a kind stranger when he was faced with the same situation. Unable to pay with his credit card, the stranger behind insisted to add his coffee to his own bill.
As well as proving that the world isn’t as detached and cold as we’re constantly told, it also got me thinking…it’s the little things that build relationships.
We spend a lot of time and effort thinking of the best way to get more clients on board, but do we spend enough time thinking of the best way to keep the ones we’ve already got?
When was the last time you sent them a little gift, off the cuff, just to say thank you?
Try it. You might just be surprised.
