China, what have you done…
While most people strip off when heading to the seaside, beachgoers appear to be covering up with a new swimwear trend that’s sweeping across the continent.
It’s a fabric mask covering the head, face and neck with holes where appropriate.
The brains behind the idea appear to be a Chinese woman who owns a swimwear shop.
She claims she was inundated with requests to make such a garment as women strived for paler skin the desirable look in China.
Never saw the attraction in the Mexican wrestler/bank robber hybrid look myself.
But who cares what I think, I’m not their target market.
The “Facekini” has grown steadily in popularity since, with the inventor saying she has sold 30,000 over the past year alone.
She listened to her target market and took action; a true trait of entrepreneurship.
When was the last time you sought out to listen to your market? When was the last time you acted upon it?
I’d like to take this opportunity to ask how we at Meades Contractors can improve for you?
(Just please don’t make us wear bi/man or facekinis!)
